The BCSC’s Faculty are hand picked by the American government. They consist of the cooks, doctors, nurses, guards, teachers, and scientists present within the compound. Faculty may leave the compound and return as they please so long as they do not neglect their duties. All the faculty are bound to secrecy, but they only have three rules:

1 )Faculty x Patient relationships are prohibited

2) They must not Mention the Outside World

3) Faculty must not mention the Compound to the Outside World

Faculty Ranks

Cooks: They cook the food and tend to each patients individual needs or diets.

Doctors/Nurses: These faculty members take care of the patients health and recovery

Guards: These faculty members guard the patients night and day. They are most renowned for carrying out disciplinary actions and tend to be rough with the patients in general.

Teachers: The Faculty members that teach classes. They are forbidden from teaching about the outside world.

Therapists: These faculty members are responsible for caring for patients during their therapy sessions. They have the power to veto experiments or treatments if they think it is in the best interest of the project.

Scientists: These are the faculty responsible for carrying the experiments. Amongst the Patients, they may be known as the ‘white coats’.

Agents: These are Faculty or Patients who are recruited by the Government. In the case of agent patients, their experiments are feigned. Their purpose is to investigate and present an unbiased report to the government.

Generation Xa: These are patients who have been ‘brainwashed’ and trained as faculty (usually as guards or scientists). Unless proven extremely trustworthy, they have minor responsibilities. They are the only faculty not permitted off Compound property.
