The Compound

Benici’s Compound takes up hundreds of acres of crown land. While it is a well-known laboratory, few outsiders know what goes on behind its black iron gates. This place has impenetrable security and only allows selected members of the outside world to come in and out.

The Compound Exterior

Compound exterior - The Exterior of the Compound is luxuriously furnished. There are several courtyards, sports courts and fields. There is a small lake and forest area that were genetically modified. Any animals were brought in upon the creation of the compound.

The Outer World - In this case, the Outer World is several acres of genetically modified biomes that are supposed to replicate life. Patients are able to visit these places usually on educational trips, or as occasional treats. Due to the vast area, they are always accompanied by a party of guards. The ‘Outer World’ is not really the outer world at all and is enclosed by tall black gates.

The Wards

The Compound has several wards for their patients. Each ward is a different color to identify the gender, status, or general health of the patient.

Blue Ward - This ward is for male patients who have been at the Compound for less than ten years (12-14 year olds)

Red Ward - This ward is for female patients who have been at the Compound for less than ten years (12-14 year olds)

Orange Ward - This ward is for stable male patients who have been at the Compound for more than ten years (15+ year olds)

Purple ward - This ward is for stable female patients who have been at the Compound for more than ten years (15+year olds)

White Ward - This ward is for freaks regardless of gender, and age.

Rules

Most of these rules are already on the rules page, but this highlights the usual punishments and a few additional rules.

-No Patients are permitted to leave the compound property. (If they can make it past the high security they are most likely to be put in isolation, be forced to wear a shock collar, or a decrease in recovery time.)

- Patient curfew is at nine o'clock pm. (Violating curfew will probably land you a night in a straight jacket, a stern warning, or a mild beating if you’re insistent on mouthing off the guards)

- Patients must always, always, wear their identification tags or bracelets. (Most likely a first offence will simply receive a warning, but repeated offenders may face isolation or reduced recovery time).

- Patient x Staff relationships are not permitted (There is no real punishment. It is simply likely the staff and patient will be kept separate so to avoid the staff playing ‘favorites’.)

- Patients must attend all scheduled meals, appointments, operations, etc. (Most likely a first offence will simply receive a warning, but repeated offenders may face isolation or reduced recovery time).

- Patients must conduct themselves in an orderly fashion. Violent outbreaks will likely lead to punishment or sedation.

- Intimate relationships between patients or patients and faculty are prohibited. (Most likely there will be no real punishment, but in the case of a pregnancy unless for the sake of an experiment it will be terminated).
