It all started with Ahmet Benici. The World's lead scientist published his findings that the laws that govern our world would change so drastically human life would not be possible. It was his findings that urged the U.S government to begin a secret project, Project New World. The purpose of this project was to save humanity from its impending doom. So I invite you visitor, whoever you are it doesn't really matter. Come, sit down at your keyboard and tell me, what role are you going to play in this story?
Setting
There are many rumors and stories to be told about the city of Chase. Stories and tales rise from the mysterious forest that borders its northern side. There's big talk of some government project happening on the other side, but no one can know for sure. The small town has a rather sparse population of 20,000 people and is kept isolated from its neighboring town by Wyers lake.
In terms of time, this site will follow real time to accommodate for the short life expectancies of compound patients. The current month is December, the year 2062.

Appearance: Feral stands at a below average 5'6" with an athletic build being equally slim and muscular. It doesn't however quite match the actual strength he bears, all of which making it quite easy to underestimate him. His naturally tanned skin is covered in scars and bruises from his many experiments and fights. Beneath his collar is a mark completely around his neck, either due to the frequent shocks or the fact that he is constantly tugging and pulling at it, finding it far too tight for his liking. His hair is brown, shoulder length and a mess, always hanging in his face and typically covering those green eyes of his. His most distinctive feature appears to be his teeth, all sharp and made to rip and tear to shreds
Aware of the Outside World thanks to the slip of the tongue of some faculty members, Feral is one of the more arrogant patients with a troublesome streak, seeming to be quite adamant about leaving the Compound. The grass is surely greener on the other side, no? It's why he's willing to risk punishment, constantly searching for that opening so that he may finally escape. Were it not for those shock collars, it might be a whole lot easier, considering he's developed some oddities, namely a Feral Mind which has caused him to become stronger and faster than the average human and has enhanced senses similar to an animal. The only thing that's noticeably different appearance wise is the sharp rows of teeth. Seasoned faculty members know not to put their hands near his mouth unless he's muzzled or unconscious thanks to his tendency to bite. The only negative side effects appear to be a decrease in sanity (or rather humanity). This is evidenced by his poor communication skills, the young man only seeming to really 'speak' with sounds such as growls, grunts, and hums. After being in his company long enough, it becomes easier to understand what each mean.
Feral doesn't seem to like being locked up or trapped in any form, any attempts to restrict him in such a way can cause him to panic. While it's certainly an effective way of dealing with him, the threat of doing so can cause him to become dangerously aggressive. Fortunately, music soothes the beast, ironic as it might be. Calm and peaceful melodies almost seem to put him in a trance, making him a bit more compliant. He also enjoys being outside, or as outside as those in his position are allowed. It makes as a good bribing tool, Feral appearing to be willing to cooperate with the opportunity is given.
For as troublesome as he might appear, he does have a soft spot for the underdogs, the weaklings. He's not necessarily much kinder to them compared to everyone else, however he's more likely to come to their rescue should someone far stronger pick on them simply because they can't defend themselves. No matter the consequence, he'll fight. This is especially true when it comes to white coats as he (like most of the other patients) isn't too fond of them. He's at least smart enough to not assault them outright, but he's certainly got a mouth on him and will give them an earful (a muzzle might come in handy). Unsurprisingly, his temper has caused him to suffer the shock collar quite a few times. He still hasn't learned how to keep his mouth shut (or his hands to himself) though.
Mental Characteristics:
Though it's quite easy to think otherwise, Feral is actually rather intelligent in his own right and is a fast learned. This isn't always necessarily a good thing, however, as he uses his brains to scheme and cause trouble more often then not. His memory, however, is rather selective. He only seems to remember things he wants and conveniently forgets anything he wouldn't. Thanks to what could obviously be lack of cooperation on his part, it's not entirely reliable. What is reliable however his his hands on skills, the young man quite good at taking apart and putting things back together, often in better conditions than they were before. He's also not too shabby when it comes to creating tools out of ordinary objects (but this can also be a problem since he uses them for those previously mentioned schemes). Puzzles are a favorite of his while riddles are another matter entirely. Best not to test his intelligence too much.
He appears to enjoy food (mostly meats) and attractive scents (typically associated with food). Much like the animal he's slowly becoming, it seems to attract him quite easily. If one's feeling particularly cruel, a faux promise of freedom can actually achieve obedience (at least until he discovers the truth).
Feral is not too crazy about smokers, the smell evidently making him ill. Tapping and other repetitive sounds also appear to make him upset. But what he detests the most would be needles and the white coats know better to strap him down tight before they even show him an injection as he will fight to escape at the mere sight. He's very claustrophobic, however, and being stuck in isolation, though traumatic, is actually an effective way to discipline him.
Social Characteristics:
A loner with very poor communication skills. Feral is usually pretty quiet unless he has something to say, and even then it's rarely ever anything friendly. He's rather impatient as well, making him difficult to approach. He instead communicates through sounds. Despite this, he doesn't appear to discriminate. He distrusts everyone equally unless they give him any reason to do otherwise. He is however rather wary around 'normal' people, being a freak and all. The only thing he can really say he hates is those white coats.
Feral is very dominant and can be quite aggressive when trying to boast that dominance. Anything that tries to stand up against him is taken as a challenge and he will go through any means to maintain that dominance. He isn't too expressive with his emotions, save for his anger of course. In fact he has a rather short fuse and it doesn't take much to get his temper flaring. In need of serious anger management for sure. He rarely ever gets sad, only appearing to grow more angry instead, however there are few instances (such as isolation) that can cause him to break and show a far more human side of him.
Because of all this, other patients tend to avoid him and it's mutual as he does the same.
